Commercial space photographer in Milan

Your venue, at its best.

Before booking a table or entering a shop, most people look at the images. Google Business Profile, maps, social and the website provide a first encounter in which the place must communicate atmosphere, care and identity.

I photograph restaurants, bars, shops, showrooms and offices across Milan. Each shoot creates a consistent set for the channels that introduce customers to the business: website, Google listing, social, booking platforms and marketing.

The first visit happens online

On Google, customers see the sign, entrance and first photographs before every detail. Dark, inconsistent images can undermine a carefully run venue; a professional set conveys its style and experience immediately.

The photographs should answer practical questions. Is the restaurant intimate or suitable for groups? Is the shop recognisable? Does the showroom present materials well? Does the office welcome clients and candidates? We define the audience and desired action before the shoot.

The set needs a main image, wider views explaining layout and capacity, details communicating quality, and useful exterior or access views. It becomes a commercial tool rather than a room record.

Daylight or evening atmosphere

Daylight makes architecture, colour and the street relationship clear; evening light emphasises atmosphere and lighting design. A restaurant may benefit from the transition, while an office or showroom may need even, accurate light.

We consider orientation, windows, opening hours and when lighting is operational. The session uses the right window instead of post-production to invent an atmosphere customers will not find.

Perspective and colour stay faithful to the space. Reflections, screens, glazing and polished surfaces receive particular attention when products and architecture share a frame.

What I photograph and where it will appear

Coverage can include the exterior and sign, entrance, main views, customer areas, workstations, tables or displays, materials, furniture and brand details. Each frame should explain the space and stand alone.

The selection serves the website and Google Business Profile first. Agreed crops can also support social, newsletters, presentations, menus, booking or delivery platforms.

For seasonal venues, we prioritise a lasting visual foundation and separate it from content needing regular updates. Future additions can then be focused.

  • Façade, sign and entrance for recognition.
  • Wide views showing atmosphere, layout and capacity.
  • Materials, furniture, product and brand details.
  • Formats suited to the website, Google and social channels.

A lived-in space, with or without people

An empty room shows the design; staff or customers can explain scale, service and atmosphere. We decide which views stay clean and which show the venue in use.

We can work with the team and real actions while keeping the space central. Identifiable people, access and permissions must be agreed beforehand.

To limit disruption, the session can happen before opening, in a quiet period or on a closure day. Light, operations and the shot list determine the right option.

Frequently asked questions

Can you photograph during opening hours?

Yes, although clean architectural views are often best made before opening or during a quiet period. If the brief calls for an active venue, we schedule a separate part with controlled spaces, staff and flow. The decision follows the experience you need to communicate.

Do we need models or posing staff?

Not necessarily. The venue can be photographed empty, while staff can appear in selected frames to show welcome, service or scale. If models and casting are needed, that is assessed separately. Any identifiable presence must be agreed before the shoot.

Do you also photograph food?

This service centres on the space. Dishes, drinks or products can appear as part of the agreed experience and detail shots. A complete food series needs its own preparation, time and set; mention it in your enquiry so I can confirm the scope without promising a different service.

How long does the shoot take?

It depends on floor area, the number of spaces, changes in light and whether people appear. A short space and usage list lets me build a shot plan and timing estimate. A daylight-and-evening session requires different planning from a concise core gallery.

Which files do I receive, and how can I use them?

You receive edited high-resolution images and versions prepared for the agreed channels. Image count, formats and licence are stated in the quotation according to website, Google Business Profile, social, print, platforms and the organisations that will use the files.
