I work in Milan as an interior and real estate photographer. I make spaces clear, credible and desirable without losing their character: understand the light, find the viewpoint that explains their proportions and build a sequence that guides the viewer.
The path
Born in Sari, Iran, in 1993, I studied cinematography and photography before completing an MA in Art Research. That education taught me to treat every image as a decision: what to show, in which order, under which light and for which audience.
For more than ten years I have worked freelance on cultural and artistic projects with magazines, agencies and institutions. My practice has covered people, architecture, nature and everyday life, moving between commissions and personal series. Field experience and academic research give me visual sensitivity and a disciplined process.
From streets to spaces
For years, my subject was the relationship between people and the places they inhabit: streets, markets, monuments, buildings, and urban and rural landscapes. Working in different settings taught me to observe before intervening and wait until light, form and presence find their balance.
I now apply that attention to interiors. A room reveals who designed it, how it is lived in and what experience it promises. In a home for sale I look for clarity; in hospitality, welcome; in an architecture project, geometry, material and design intent.
What I bring to a commercial assignment
First, I bring a close reading of natural light. I assess orientation, windows, reflections and artificial light to plan the sequence. Compositional precision keeps lines and proportions credible, while careful colour respects walls, textiles, timber and finishes.
I also bring patience. I check every composition, remove distractions and choose viewpoints that explain the room without distortion. I listen to the brief: the photographs may need to clarify a listing, support booking platforms or present a design project.
There is no identical formula for every commission. The space, audience and final use determine the shot plan and edit, producing a concise selection prepared for its intended channel.
Recognition
Across my career I have been selected, exhibited or awarded in more than one hundred national and international festivals and competitions. Verified distinctions include Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest, Siena International Photo Awards, Drone Awards, UNESCO Silk Road Youth Photo Competition and Khayyam International Photo Festival.
These results belong mainly to my artistic and documentary work. Commercially, they translate into visual discipline, strong editing and attention to how each image communicates.
Languages
I work in English, Italian and Persian. The brief, quotation and planning can be handled in whichever language is most comfortable, keeping objectives, usage and delivery clear.
